Anna Silk

Anna Silk (born January 31 1974) is a Canadian actress who is most well-known for her part as Bo in the Showcase television show Lost Girl. Silk was raised in Fredericton New Brunswick Canada. Ilkay Silk was the child of Peter who was an academic, and Peter Silk who was a well-known actor, director, producer, playwright, educator and Director of Drama, St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna can recall some of the earliest moments of her existence, such as watching and participating in rehearsals of plays. Silk appeared in several commercials as a child. She earned a Bachelor's degree in Arts from St. Thomas University in 1997. Theatre St. Thomas was engaged in two early theater productions including Seven Menus (1997) and The Kitchen (1999). Silk relocated to Toronto to further her acting career in the month of November 1999, and during the decade that followed, she relocated in the following decade to Los Angeles California. Seth Cooperman is her future spouse, whom she discovered at the time of her meeting in Los Angeles at an Actors Workshop. They got engaged in 2009 before getting married at an unofficial ceremony in December. They renewed their vows on April 10, 2011, in Fredericton in the aftermath of Silk's was converted to Judaism. Silk Cooperman was blessed with her son, Samuel Jerome Cooperman, in May of 2013. Levi Aaron is her second child, and was born on 13th of May in 2016. Silk's television work includes her role in Being Erica as Cassidy Holland and she received a Gemini Awards nod in 2009. Silk was cast in the lead role as Bo Dennis, a succubus as seen on the television show Lost Girl. Silk got pregnant in the course of production of the final season episode. The news was announced to the fans in a Showcase pre-show Season Three special on January 6th, 2013. Silk revealed via Twitter, on June 20, 2013 that production was underway for Season 4. In June of 2013, Showcase and Prodigy Pictures confirmed the start of Production for Season 4, which will air in the fourth season. CNN recognized Bo's performance alongside Lauren (Zoie Palermo) in Lost Girl one of the most watched TV couples of all time. E! voted it as top TV couple for 2013. Entertainment Television.
